UXB SteamPro is a flexible system that removes TNT and Composition B from munitions.  It is capable of processing munitions from the 60mm mortar up to 2000 lb bombs.

Each SteamPro ships as a fully contained system – only water and fuel/electricity are needed at the site.  Explosives recovered from the SteamPro system are suitable for recycling or reprocessing.  The SteamPro can be ordered with accessories to assist in flaking, reformulating, or re-casting of explosives.

If the customer is interested in complete demilitarization (not recycling of the explosives), UXB recommends the Dynasafe Static Detonation Chamber (SDC) for the thermal destruction of the explosives.  The SteamPro and Static Detonation Chamber can be integrated so that recovered explosives are fed directly to the SDC, without user intervention, if so desired.
