The Dynasafe SDC series of equipment is designed for the safe destruction of ammunition and ammunition components.

The SDC is very flexible and can handle various types of explosive devices such as fuses, mines, detonators, blasting caps, small arms, anti-aircraft ammunition, mortars, explosives, hand-grenades and larger conventional and chemical munitions without prior disassembling.

The detonation chamber is indirectly heated. The heat is produced outside the inner chamber where the destruction takes place. Consequently, no gases from the heat generation will be mixed with gases from the destruction process. The ammunition or explosives fed into the inner chamber are destroyed through burning, deflagration, detonation on a hot scrap bed.

The scrap from the destructed ammunition is taken out from the inner chamber by rotating the inner chamber. This scrap is free of explosives.

The Static Detonation Chamber is available in different sizes up to very high throughput rates. Beside the stationary SDCs there are also mobile SDCs available. Dynasafe is able to provide every SDC with a customized off-gas cleaning system which is able to meet national and international cleaning standards.

The handling of munitions before destruction is further minimized by using a tailor-made loading system. Hereby, a high level of safety for operation personnel is ensured.
