The MCV series of vessels is designed for the safe containment and transport of explosives, munitions toxic materials or a combination of explosives and toxic materials. As all Dynasafe “containment” products the MCV is gas-tight with possibility to sample gases before they are safely released after detonation. The MCV is also designed to withstand repetitive detonations up to the maximum amount of explosives specified.
These are important considerations when explosive and toxic materials have to be moved through populated areas. Different MCVs are in operation worldwide for transport of explosives and munitions. Several chambers have been delivered for the safe transport of chemical munitions, especially old recovered munitions. For this purpose clients in the USA, Germany, Japan, Sweden and China rely on Dynasafe´s expertise and experience in areas like safety against explosions and designing gas-tight equipment.
The MCV series of vessels is today available between 1 and 25 kg TNT equivalent. Design and equipment are always customized and tailor-made to meet the needs of the client. The MCV can be mounted onto a variety of vehicles, loading frames or directly on a trailer or low body vehicle.
