The GEC series of chambers is designed for the safe storage and transport of explosives, toxic materials or a combination of explosives and toxic materials. As all Dynasafe “containment” products the GECs are gas-tight with possibility to sample gases before they are safely released after detonation. The GECs are also designed to withstand repetitive detonations up to the maximum amount of explosives specified.
Up to now Dynasafe has designed the different GECs to be able to contain the effects from detonating explosive devices. The GECs are available in different standard designs or can be tailored to meet the specific demands of clients.
Some of the units delivered are today used for transport of explosive devices by air.
The design of the standard GEC series results in:
