The Dynasafe ECV series of vessels can be configured for many purposes: a mobile design for containment and transport or designed for stationary use, for storage, experiments, or research and development. The Dynasafe ECV is always customized to client specifications, but is most often designed to be gas-tight for use with explosives, toxic material, biological materials or combinations. The ECV is designed to withstand repetitive detonations up to the maximum amount of explosives specified.

Stationary ECVs delivered by Dynasafe are used for testing of explosives, munitions and munitions components.  Testing is one of the main uses for these systems in the process of commercial development and production of munitions and explosive devices to assure that the devices fulfil the requested properties and technical performance data.

The Dynasafe explosion containment vessels (ECV) have a long-standing record. The first chamber was delivered in 1981 to the Swedish Detonic Research Fund and is still in operation.

Different Mobile ECVs are in operation worldwide for the transport of explosives and munitions. Several chambers have been delivered for the safe transport of chemical munitions; especially old recovered munitions. Clients in the USA, Germany, Japan, Sweden and China rely on Dynasafe’s expertise and experience in areas such as safety against explosions and designing gas-tight equipment.
